Our aim is to strive for top quality at every stage. From the purchase of raw materials, through grading, design, assembly and finishing, to packaging. To achieve this we produce the majority of our collection in our own workshop on Gotland. All of our pieces are made to order for each customer. A cabinetmaker is assigned
to each piece, ensuring quality.
We use proven carpentry techniques at each stage of production. Thanks to these skills and the use of solid materials, our furniture can be sanded down and restored to mint condition after many years of service.
On delivery all timber is graded to ensure that every finished piece of furniture displays an even grain and colour. The timber is then sawn into lengths for the components to be made. By labelling and numbering drawer parts, we can make sure that the grain and pattern of one piece of timber continues across each row of drawer fronts. We use dovetail joints in many pieces because they
are durable. Where the design permits drawers feature concealed
galvanized steel mountings fitted onto beech glide rails.
Our designs incorporate steel fittings ground flush at the same time as the timber is sanded. Frames and plinths are assembled in accordance with the customer’s order. Since much of our furniture is custom built, a work order accompanies each piece
throughout the process.
